Summary:
Our family of 4 (me, my wife, sons 14 and 11) went on this trip. We were asked if we wanted to upgrade from Grade II to Grade III, and I'm glad we did. Edwin was our guide and he did a fabulous job, turning us into a working team in a matter of minutes and imbuing the whole experience with a sense of fun (slighly manic at times, which was great). A couple of our team fell in through the rapids but we'd been so well briefed beforehand that it was fine and they were recovered almost immediately. We did the fast section two times, and it was amazing, very "in the moment" and wild. Edwin filled us with confidence and was perfect for the job.

A few days ago me, my parents and my little brother rafted for the first time. All of the rules were explained very well by our great great guide Olly. At first I was a bit scared but it was super fun! It was scary but I felt safe at the same time, and I think that this is also a great activity for a family with younger kids.
